It is a great pleasure to express our sincere congratulations on the official approvement of the "PalaeoPark Santa Maria" by the Portuguese government! It is a reward for Dr. Sérgio Ávila's long and continuous hard work on the preparation and application, and it is also a great success of our palaeontological society! We think and we hope there will be more and more PalaeoParks to be established in different countries and regions in the world in the near future.
